Lawn Mowing

Sharp blades cut clean. Dull ones tear the grass, brown the tips, and open the door to disease — so we sharpen on a schedule, not after we see the damage. Cut height matches your grass: St. Augustine takes 3.5 to 4 inches, Bermuda about half that. And we change mowing direction every visit, so the lawn grows even instead of leaning into the same ruts week after week.

Edging

Edging and trimming aren't the same. An edger drops a vertical blade into the soil and cuts a clean line along the concrete — that line holds for two to three weeks. A trimmer just shaves the grass tops with a string. Same blades, just shorter, and they're back over the sidewalk by the next visit.

Trimming & Weed-Eating

The trimmer handles what the mower can't reach — mailboxes, fences, AC units, garden beds, the property line. We match the trim height to the mowed height. Mismatched cuts are what make a lawn look patchy from the curb, even one that was just mowed.

Hedge Trimming

Hedges get shaped wider at the bottom than the top so sunlight reaches the lower branches. Without that taper, the bottom shades itself out and goes bare — and once a hedge is bald at the base, it takes years to fill back in. Clippings get hauled off, not piled at the curb or left to smother the lawn underneath.

Cleanup & Blowing

Every walk and driveway gets blown clean before we leave. Clippings don't go into your beds — they rot against the mulch, smother whatever's growing, and turn brown the first time it rains. They get blown back onto the lawn or bagged and hauled off.

Sod Installation

Old sod gets stripped. Soil gets graded and cleared of roots and rocks. New sod goes down in offset rows — staggered like bricks so the seams knit together instead of running in lines you can see from the curb. We roll it to press the roots into the soil, then water it deeply. Skip the prep work, and the sod settles unevenly, holds water in the low spots, and lets weeds push through the seams. That's where most sod jobs fail.

Fresh New Florida Sod

Florida's hard on grass. Heat, drought stretches, chinch bugs in the St. Augustine, fungus after a wet week — by the time most lawns hit the point of no return, they've been dying in slow motion for a season or two. We pull what's left, regrade and prep the soil, lay fresh sod tight to the seams, and water it in on the schedule it needs to root. Two weeks later we make the first cut and roll you onto the weekly route — same crew, same day, every week.
